There’s something magical about Lupines. The large cone shaped flowers appear in the early spring and then disappear till next year. All over Maine they arrive in fields, on the road side and yards. They’re beautiful and they were on my list of subjects I wanted to photograph on our Acadia trip in June of 2016.
As we drove the 4 hours from Boston to Bar Harbor, Lupines weren’t hard to find. They’re everywhere! They come in different colors, pink, blue, deep purple, etc. I spent a good bit of time photographing them. These photos, all from Acadia National Park, are just a few of my images from that trip.
All photos take with the Fujifilm X-T1 and the XF16-55mm zoom lens with polarizer. Processed in Lightroom.
